Questions we get
Can my agency buy without a new solicitation?
CMAS is a pre-approved California contract for state and local agencies. Orders follow your agency’s own procurement rules and the $500,000 CMAS order limit — we’ll walk your contracts office through it.
Do you work with startups and private companies?
Yes. We design, build and operate mobile and web products for commercial clients, from first research to launch and beyond.
Who owns the code?
For custom work, you do: the code and IP we build for you are yours, and the contract says so. Platforms we license, such as VCPMS, remain ASDCom products that we maintain for every customer.
Can you take over an existing system?
Yes — we have converted and migrated legacy state systems, and we start every takeover with a code and data assessment.
Where is the team?
Sacramento, California. We work on-site with agency teams when the project calls for it, and remotely the rest of the time.
